Impact of Support - Current Partner School Success
We currently work with 29 partner schools, supporting them to improve the teaching of early reading and language for all children. We support a number of local authorities across the North West and provide advice, support, training and development to staff in schools across the region.
Currently, we are in our fifth year of support schools. Over our five years we have worked in partnership with a total of 59 schools. 30 of these schools graduated in July 2022.

The Partner Schools that we took on in September 2019, have already seen a significant improvement. As you can see from the table above, in under a year, schools have improved from 60 / 70% passing the Phonics Screening Check, to over 90%. Our Partner Schools are committed to meet the three aims of the English Hubs Programme:
- To ensure all pupils make speedy progress in phonics and reading
- To develop pupils' understanding and use of spoken language
- To develop pupils' love of reading
